Role Play
Personality:
This cub has the strong will and endurance of his father, tempered by the softness and patience of his mother. Still daring, Lionheart seeks excitement in all that he does but is learning the value of patience, even if he doesn’t practice it too much. He has a deep fear of storms – even on slightly overcast days he is seldom seen near the vicinity of the river, although he will almost always follow his friends there in the belief that if he is there he can at least try to keep them safe. He lives for stealth games and adrenaline rushes, although he sincerely hates seeing anyone put themselves in danger. His rambunctious moods are often followed by periods of contemplativeness.
Treasures:
The tail of a squirrel that his father once shot down for him. The bracelet from Beechnut carved like a running wolf, and a longtooth tooth on a string, all kept safe in a small chest shaped by Firemoss.
History:
Lionheart was born in Rushwater Holt after his parents' travels from their White Cold Hunters tribe, playing with his wooden sword and generally happily making a nuisance out of himself. When Beechnut was born he was thrilled to have a new playmate, and as she grew older the two started having more and more adventures together. He's encountered both the Land Lopers and the Sky Singers, and is pretty scornful of the humans.
He looked up to his father. When Surefire and Clearheart broke up their lifemating, he was surprised and a bit shaken, but having Wise Elk as an adoptive father wasn't that bad at all. He sometimes denned with Clearheart and Wise Elk, sometimes with Surefire. On a journey with Rock and Surefire, he killed an attacking longtooth. Combined with the encounters with the humans, both sometimes lethal, he's pretty well convinced that he can handle anything.
When his father left to find the White Cold Hunters, Lionheart tried to adjust, but he missed his father, and eventually went searching for him. It ended badly, with Nettle and Clearheart barely finding him, frozen and hallucinating. The human's periodic wars make him rather annoyed - knowing his tendency to run off to explore, the tribe kept a close watch over the cub. But it turned out well, and he’s regained most of his freedom to explore.
He was so glad when his father returned. Lionheart later went on a trading journey with Nettle and enjoyed himself, coming back with a brightmetal long sword that is now his favourite weapon.
His mother's accidental death came as a crushing blow to the young elf. Lionheart didn't think he'd ever recover, lapsing into both Wolfsong and memories and refusing most company save for Beechnut. His half-brother was born soon after though, and Lionheart has vowed to protect the little one and to watch over him.
He took his first hunt with Beechnut when he was twelve, waiting for her so they could pass into the hunter’s world together, even though he knew that she would have a place in the Hunt if she wanted, while he would have to prove himself as his father did before being accepted. He hasn’t been in any rush to do this, though.
Most of his time now is spent practicing stealth and learning from Dreamberry and Nettle all he can about the trolls. Another of his duties has been to watch Boldscout, which he sometimes loves and sometimes loathes, but accepts both gladly. He has also been getting increasingly curious about the White Cold Hunter Tribe, where his parents were born.
His usual activities were put on hold at the time of Bloom Rest in 1767 and he left the holt, his soul name calling to him, departing toward the south. He returned almost a year later, far wiser and seemingly more in touch with himself. He was a little shocked and saddened to find that Summerset had left in his absence and is a bit afraid to venture away from the holt for any long lengths of time, fearing who else he may find gone when he returns. He also doesn’t want to be like his father, and disappear from the lives of his remaining family for precious years. Finding his soul name seemed to open many new options for him, though at the moment he is content to remain in Dirk and Surefire’s den with Boldscout. Lionheart has watched Mystic and Beechnut’s relationship grow almost to the point of jealousy, and has tried to hide his possessiveness, though it shows through some times.
He finally decided that he'd need his own place, and though he was hesitant to bring it up he was glad he did. His family supported the move and he now has his own space in a nearby tree.
Lionheart now needs to come to terms and deal with Honeyhue's feelings as well as his own. He has so far avoided making any decisions when it comes to his love life but he knows he cannot go on like this forever.

Name: Trolltracker Sex: Female Age: 17 Rank: Low |
|
Markings:
She has a burnt orange coloured pelt with lighter smears above each eye and a cream coloured muzzle and underbelly. The tip of her tail is pure white and her both her front paws and one back one have black socks.
Personality:
She has no regrets about showing her frustration with Lionheart’s carelessness with tooth and claw. She is too eager to jump at opportunities for advancement in the pack. She has an assertive nature but lacks the skill to fight; she will rely on brute force rather than stealth and strategy, which is often her downfall. She is obsessive and bitter and not inclined to put up with any foolishness.
