He's been growing it a bit longer recently, and it now reaches to about the middle of his back, which also makes it look a little more tidy than usual, as the weight pulls it down and into some semblance of a shape. He has taken to tying it back in an untidy ponytail with a piece of leather when it gets in his way.

Angular face with a pointed chin. Straight nose and thick eyebrows. Thick sideburns creep down the tops of his cheekbones slightly, hinting at what his facefur will likely develop into many turns down the road.

Role Play
Personality:
Outgoing and upbeat with a positive attitude, Rock is a flirt and enjoys women with abandon; ready to join with anyone if it's offered or if they respond to his suggestions. Rock is helpful and extremely reliable, putting family, friends and the tribe before all else. When matters turn dire he becomes serious until they are resolved.
There's one thing guaranteed to ruin his good mood, however, and that's the emergence of a preserver - he hates them with a passion. He finds them to be irritating, annoying bugs that steal your things and have intolerable voices and habits that drive him up a tree or worse. The fact that he's never even tried to hide these feelings has earned him the preserver name of Nastybad Highthing.
Once every few turns Rock gets restless, after which he'll go off wandering for a few days, losing himself in wolf-thought. When he returns he's completely happy again and back to his usual self. His recent lovemating with Wildstar and Dreamberry hasn't changed his flirting or wandering habits much, though he is now more inclined to the occasional wrestle in the furs by the riverside or any other convenient spot than spending the day in someone's den.
Rock has learned much from traveling with Duskwater. He found that he missed his friends and family back at the Holt, and made a promise to himself that he would learn to appreciate them more. The treewee that he rescued, and named Blink, taught him that even the smallest creature can make a difference. He longs for his home and his tribemates and he regrets leaving the Holt. He now sees that this was a selfish act, and is even more humbled by Duskwater volunteering to join him in his momentary lapse in reason. He has many regrets about leaving in the first place, and fears his return, but knows that this is something that he must face. He worries that Dreamberry will not have him back as a lovemate, but knows that it is his own behavior that has caused whatever anger and frustration his tribemates have for him. He has found himself willing to accept the consequences for his actions upon his return to the Holt.
Treasures:
His name, given to him by Wildstar after having yearned for her love countless turns in silent agony, is his most prized possession and something of the embodiment of his life's fire; never will he change it or accept a new name. He also holds dear a carving of a wolf, made by his father, and a carving of a sparrow he made for Snowbird.
History:
Rock is the firstborn child of Timberdust and Crystal, and has inherited his mother's bright green eyes. As a cub his hair was platinum grey, which earned him his cub name Greystone, but as he matured his hair grew darker and darker, and now it's virtually black, like his father's used to be.
He had a happy youth, as he still had his parents until well into his maturity. He found his soul name with relative ease when he was twenty-seven turns old, but didn't change his name then. His current name was given to him by Wildstar a few turns later, after he refused to budge even an inch when she had injured her leg during a hunt and was being attacked by an enraged tuft cat. Having been the only thing she has ever truly given him, Rock cherishes his name above all else he personally ownes.
Rock enjoys his body and that of others and is a good contestant for Lovemaker where flirting is concerned. The two of them even had a good-natured competition to see who could talk the most women into their furs (although still disputed between the two of them, the outcome was something of a draw).
However, Rock secretly had his eye on Wildstar and Dreamberry for what seemed forever, but he never dared to tell anyone, as he was terrified of rejection. He also didn't want to come between the two soul sisters and privately thought they didn't need him. And although he would often candidly stare or dream longingly of the two women, he wasn't generally bothered by their apparent disinterest in him until Rock believed that Wildstar had lovemated with Wise Elk, and his world promptly shattered. He lost all interest in his surroundings, and it took a good kicking from his sister Birchbark before he realised that this was not the case. Birchbark also made it clear to him that he could no longer hide his love for Wildstar and Dreamberry and that he had to tell them. This resulted in his lovemating with Dreamberry, but Wildstar felt betrayed and didn't want to form a three-mating with them. Only after several turns of the seasons and a lot of dreamberries did she finally give in, and the three are now happily denning together.
Rock has a very close relationship with his sister Birchbark and has always supported her. When their mother died he was away on one of his wanderings so he missed the Howl, but upon his return he and Birchbark held their own private Howl to share their loss. Rock was even more lost when Timberdust drowned, as he had been very close to his father and had learned his carving skills from him. He was one of the elves who found his body and carried him back to the Holt. He has accepted these deaths as the Way however, and manages on fond memories, sometimes reinforced by fellow tribe memberss who are better at remembering things.
Since their lovemating, his life has revolved mostly around Dreamberry and Wildstar. He has given Dreamberry a golden anklet as a token of his love and would like to give Wildstar something as well but she is, as always, proving to be a much bigger challenge and as yet he has not been able to decide on anything fitting.
The deaths of tribe members Snowbird and Clearheart triggered another of his wandering episodes, although this time he stayed away longer than usual. He has a tendency to live more in the NOW of wolf-thought, both to more thoroughly enjoy the time with his lovemates - as he believes, deep down, that this happy togetherness won't last forever - as well as in reaction to the deaths of such close friends in recent turns. But having worked through much of these emotional tides, Rock is back to enjoying his cheerful self, returning to his flirtatiousness and general hedonism with Dreamberry close in tow. His decision to grow his hair a bit longer was the result of a chance remark by Dreamberry that she liked to use it to hold on to, so he decided to give her some more opportunity for doing that.
Rock has recently bonded to a new wolf, Sunrise, since the death of Prancer and has found himself free to wander again. After the chieftess' announcement that she had Recognized Lonewolf, Rock found himself with a need to get away for awhile and sort his head out. He is currently traveling with Duskwater, who refused to let him wander alone. Duskwater has also been helping Rock develop his fishing skills.
Rock and Duskwater traveled far away from the Holt and all the way to the Vast Deep. Rock learned much about himself and Duskwater in that time and came to a greater appreciation for his friends and family back in the Holt. He rescued a treewee and named him Blink. They had almost made it back to the Holt when they were attacked by swordfeet and Rock was severly injured.

Name: Sunrise Sex: Female Age: 2 Rank: Mid/Low |
|
Markings:
She has a tawny gold coat with a black smudge star on her forehead.
Personality:
Sunrise has a lot of character and is very much the "she-wolf", fearless and proud. She adopted Rock after the loss of Prancer and treats him as if he was her cub. She is playful, but protective and stubborn. Once she sets her mind to something it is very hard to dissuade her. She spends most of her time where ever Rock is and very often does not let him out of her sight.
