Eyes:
Large and rounded with a slant and a deep velvety blue colour and are starting to develop a bluish ring in the middle. His eyelashes are getting a little longer as well, making his eyes look rimmed with black.

Hair:
Dark black, his hair is shaggy with a thick, slightly wiry feel to it and has a tendency to stick out at odd angles. It is just to his shoulders by now, and he tends to wear it in a small braid down the back. His bangs have grown at an amazing rate, almost reaching his eyes. The unruly quality of his hair has only been heightened by the quick growth, and all of his mother's attempts to calm it have failed.

Facial Features:
The smallest traces of his cubling roundness are still evident, but other than that his face has become slightly longer. His nose slopes straight, but the very end turns up a little. His eyebrows that were a little big for his face are now proportionate and bushy. His chin is now apparent in his face where it was once masked by baby fat.

Skin: His skin is now a light tan, as he no longer has his pink hue from early childhood.
Build: All of the chubbiness that was apparent as a cub is now lost as his muscles are very visible in his stomach, chest and arms. He is pretty thin now, which will probably carry over into his future years. His rapid height gain only serves to accentuate the apparent thinness, but because of this, biceps and calf muscles as a result of hunting practice can clearly be seen.

Clothes:
His doe skin outfit has had to be modified since he has grown much taller, so now he wears pants that are cut raggedly at the bottom. He still prefers to go without shoes, but if he has to wear some then he wears his new pair of moccasins for his ever-growing feet. Copying in the style of his father, he wears an orange vest. He also has a leather belt.

Colours Worn: Dark blue, tan and orange.
Jewellery: A necklace made with a longtooth claw that he found on one of his many scavenging trips.

Role Play

Personality:
A highly inquisitive cub, Boldscout finds interest in most any object he can get his hands on. Curiousity as a cub lead to tinkering and he can almost always be found taking something apart to learn its inner workings or building something new out of objects he's collected, found or made from something else. He rarely makes the same exact item twice but enjoys finding new ways to employ his tools into different forms. This hobby seems to be an inner drive in the young cubling, who promises to be a Latethaw of his generation.

Given his mother Dirk's insistence on the boy learning the use of the blade, Boldscout has acquired greater familiarity with the weapon than most cublings do by his age. Father Surefire has been sure to teach the lad proper care and respect for the weapon, though, after a long discussion with Dirk on their different parenting styles. He is starting to hang around his brother more because he no longer likes a few of the activities that kept him so amused when he was very small. He is very eager to learn new weaponry as his brother has started teaching him the bow. He loves to try hunting as well, staying out as long as he can before his mother makes him take a break.

Treasures:
A number of objects he's built that he particularly likes or has plans for in the future when he's older, plus some tools he's inherited or created himself to aid him in his building. His bond with Lionheart and the time they spend together is also something he treasures, in the unknowing way of children. Now that he has begun to make progress in archery he treasures his bow.

History:
Boldscout has a close relationship with both his parents and half-brother Lionheart. He enjoys going places with his mother because it allows him to see and experience new things and sometmes he is able to bring back new objects to the holt to play and build with. His father has spent much time trying to protect Boldscout from Dirk's more liberal parenting style but as Boldscout has aged and proved himself sturdier, Surefire's watchful eye has relaxed a bit. Father/son bonding is often done over basic lores such as careful weapon use. Boldscout and Lionheart can often be found playing together when Beechnut is involved in her apprenticeship. At age six, Boldscout bonded with his first wolf-friend, an auburn female named Firefur. This is the joy of his young life, the first step into adulthood.

Markings:
Light red coat with darker red stripe down the nose. Her ears are quite big for her tiny head, but she is expected to grow into this. She has large, inquisitive eyes and a tiny wet nose.

Personality:
Aggressive, charismatic and daring. Firefur is one pup that is not afraid to approach unknown territory. This often gets her into mischief that she will hopefully grow out of when she gets older. She has a tendency to nip an elf that she likes, but her adorable face will often help her to escape trouble.
