Eyes:
Large and slanted, ice blue colour with a dark blue circle around the irises. They look very lupine and they give her a gaze that is difficult to stare down.

Hair:
When loose, Snowsoft's silvery white hair hangs down to her waist with a soft curl. Now her hair is held in a low ponytail, small braids with a few beads and feathers are woven throughout her hair.

Facial Features:
Her face is square-shaped with a pointy jaw that juts outward when firmly set. She has high cheekbones, a full mouth and full, long eyelashes that curl at the ends and a straight, slightly down-turned nose.

Clothes:
A green, tattered sleeveless top that cuts off right before her midriff. It’s tied in the front with dull brown tanned leathers, in large x-shaped stitches. Her pants rest low on her hips and are a deep brown in colour, she wears a dark brown leather belt. Her pants bell out to the ground and have long slits halfway to the knee that are loosely sewn together with brown leather. Along the sides of her pants there is light decorative stitching. Her shoes are more like sandals that lace up to her knees. The leather used for the sandals is dyed green, and brown for the soles.

Role Play

Personality:
Snowsoft is a warm and caring elf but at first glance it's hard to notice this aspect of her personality. Her frosty mane and ice blue eyes can be deceiving that way. You have to really get to know her before she opens up but when she does, you have a friend for life.

She cares much for her tribe and would do anything to protect it. She is wilful, independent and self-assured; traits grown from hard lessons learned in having the Hunt Leader as a sister, making her an excellent warrior and fighter. Not much of one for words, she mostly sends.

Woodsmoke's Recognition to Dreamshadow threw Snowsoft into a state of chaos and she once again withdrew from the holt and her tribesmates, becoming increasingly distant and cold. She spent much time away from the holt with Lonefang as her only company until Woodsmoke finally instilled an understanding in her from which she grew much stronger and embraced the events that had come to pass. She returned to the holt for the second time in her life and claimed a new name: Snowsoft, to reflect her now gentler personality and wisdom gained.

Treasures:
Her two daggers, a gift from her father, with which she earned the name Silverblade. They are her most prized possessions and allows no one but herself to handle them. She can spend hours honing the blades to perfection.

History:
On a crisp, cold winter morning a she-cub was born to Goldflame and Haste. Because her hair was the same colour as the little-seen frost; silver white, she was named Frostmane. Frostmane was a happy little cub with the love of the whole tribe to guide her, but her foremost idol was her sister. Snowspear became Frostmane's hero and she tried to copy her in all things, and as such she wanted to be a huntress and a warrior just like her older sister. As Snowspear was so much older, Frostmane had to put in a lot of effort to even remotely resemble her sister. This caused her to experience a lot of disappointments, but in the end they only made her stronger.

Even as a baby, Frostmane had strong sending and animals always seemed very close to her and she bonded quite early. As her bonding skills are strong, Snowsoft typically becomes very attached to her wolf bonds and when they die her grief can be heard throughout the forest long after her friend's death. This causes her to go very long periods before she bonds again.

Her first wolf-friend was a she-wolf named Cloud Dancer with whom Frostmane bonded with at a mere four turns of age. The young elf lass found the wolf cub when she and Snowspear came upon a fight between a longtooth and a wolf. The wolf surprisingly managed to fend off the larger cat but not before receiving a lethal wound. The sister pair found what the she-wolf had spent her life trying to protect: her sole surviving cub. The bond between the timid cubling and elf formed instantly.

At the age of eight turns, Frostmane went on her first hunt. This happened a little earlier than is customary because of her hard work at copying her sister Snowspear.

When Frostmane was eighteen turns old she saved the life of young Colorcast who had tumbled into the great river and surely would have died had she not been rescued. In recognition of her bravery and quick thinking, her father presented her with her now most cherished possessions, her twin silver daggers.

Later that year she lost both her parents. Her father was killed in a hunting accident, and her mother disappeared and was later presumed dead. This was a very rough experience for her and she shut the world out for a while. This was the beginning of her solitude towards other elves with the exception of Snowspear, with whom she then choose to den with.

At the age of twenty-one turns, Frostmane began to feel restless. She had the feeling that she had to do something, but could not quite figure out what it was. One morning she had disappeared from the holt with Cloud Dancer and did not return until three dances of the moon had passed. On this trip she found her soul name and took the name Silverblade upon returning to the tribe.

Snowsoft, then Silverblade, bonded with her current wolf-friend, Lonefang, upon once again stumbling across a deserted wolf den. Reeking of death but hearing the meagre whines of life, she crawled into the hole only to find one surviving cub, scrawny and having lost several milk teeth but otherwise unharmed. Picking the cub up and carefully carrying him back to the Holt, they bonded soon afterwards. She gave him the name Lonefang because he lacked his upper right fang.

After Woodsmoke Recognized Dreamshadow, Snowsoft went through a very difficult period that caused her to be much more distant and colder than normal. But Woodsmoke's quiet yet firm presence brought her through her depression, reaching out to her in the way only he could do, he assured her that although he would lifemate Dreamshadow, she would always hold that dear place in his heart and wanted her to continue to be a part of his life and his cub's life. Agreeing to tutor the cub in the ways of the Hunt, Snowsoft returned to the holt with a new name and a new and refreshed view of life. True to her word, she has begun to instruct Echo in the fine arts of canyon forest life.

Born with only one upper fang, he has a white pelt with specks of grey across his neck. He is also wall-eyed with one ice blue and one dark blue eye. He is very tall and muscular, a very large wolf.

Personality:
Lonefang is tolerant with cubs and younglings, but he is quite aggressive towards the adult wolves. He is very eager to keep his place in the pack and maybe even advance in the hierarchy. Otherwise he loves hunting and playing, and he thrives when he is out in the woods with Snowsoft. Of her he is very protective, and he will never leave her side willingly.
