Role Play

Personality:
An outgoing, fun loving and loyal elf. Mystic is also careful, smart and kind-hearted. He likes to make people laugh. If no healers are around he is always the first to help a wounded animal or elf. Unfortunately, his relationship with his father Slingstone has been strained from his birth.

However, recent events have changed this somewhat. Father and son do still have some problems but are both committed to working them out. Mystic has grown even closer to Tendril and often feels that it is her love that keeps him grounded. The death of his aunt, Snowbird, was especially hard on the young elf, but he takes comfort in knowing that through her death he and Slingstone began to open up to each other. The future seems a bit brighter than it once did.

Likes: Other elves (especially young cubs), stars, everything the forest holds.

Dislikes: Death, bad dreams.

Out look on life: He was put here for a reason and he isn't leaving until he figures out why.

Treasures:
A small dagger that Harmony gave to him and was of her ancestor's and a little coffer where he guards a curl of Tendril's hair.

History:
Mystic was born on a fair night out among the tribe. As he drew his first breath, the clouds in the night sky parted and a beam of moonlight fell upon him but he didn't cry, instead he laughed.

His mother, sensing something unique about her cub, gave him the name Dimples for his large, dimpled cheeks and laughing face. It was soon discovered that the only noise he could make was a laugh like sweet music as he was born with defective vocal cords. Purehaven tried to fix them but to no avail. Luckily, his sending ability was strong, making up for his lack of voice.

Mystic sees things differently then the others in his tribe. He tends to see the future repercussions of his actions and he will be content to sit and stare at a flower all day. He believes there are worlds within their world, like the world of a tiny bee or butterfly but he keeps this to himself, only telling Tendril on occasion.

When younger, Mystic originally had a small crush on Dapple but something unexplainable and magical struck him one day when he suddenly seemed to see Tendril with new eyes. The two have been lovemates ever since. Mystic now considers a large part of his youth behind him. He strives to add his skills to the adult population of the tribe.

The death of his aunt Snowbird came as a sudden shock and forced the young elf to deal with many issues in his life. He emerged from this trial with a new perspective. Now that he has confronted his father, Mystic is trying to make up for lost time and strengthen his family ties.

Having reconciled with Slingstone, Mystic has a new outlook on life. He is finally at peace with his own inner demons. Recently Dapple revealed her love for Mystic. This took him by surprise but made him realize that he too had harboured feelings for her. The two have been honest about the situation with Tendril and Mystic hopes that Tendril will understand that he loves both her and Dapple.

After three-mating with Dapple and Tendril, Mystic has found a new contentment. Gone are the days of turmoil and he has settled into a routine that he is very pleased with. His is fully happy for the first time in his life and he awaits the coming of the future with more excitement than dread. He hopes to explore the love he has for both Tendril and Dapple more fully. He also hopes to hone his skills and be an even greater benefit to the tribe.

Mystic now searches for a deepness in his soul. He is sometimes haunted by visions both good and bad. He has recently started to discover more of his 'spiritual self' and is seeking the wisdom of his elders more and more. He feels that he is coming to an age that he will discover more about himself than he has ever known. He feels that this is largely due to the contentment in his life now. Before, he was in such turmoil that he found it difficult to concentrate on the metaphysical.

When Mystic discovered Dapple's love for him, he was happy but worried. When Tendril discovered and accepted this news, Mystic was overjoyed. The three-mating propelled Mystic into the happiest time of his life. As time passed, Tendril grew restless and began to dwell on what she saw to be a rivalry between her and Dapple. When things finally came to a head and Tendril moved out of Mystic's den, he was shattered. Though he and Tendril continue to be lovemates, Mystic has found himself to be involved in two couplings rather than one fulfilling three-mating. He is working hard to accept the situation and he is trying to show both Tendril and Dapple just how much he values each of them. He hopes that one day Tendril will return to his den and the three can be one again.

Of late, Mystic has become close to Firemoss and has asked her to teach him the lore of herbs. He eagerly is trying to learn all he can.
