Submission Requirements...

  1. Art submissions must relate to Rushwater Holt; we do not accept generic ElfQuest art or art from other holts or similar resources.
  2. All artistic submissions must be original works of art and of your own creation. If you would like to submit artwork done for you by another artist, you must submit the artist's full name and a valid email address along with the piece, plus the artist must have given permission for their work to be posted to our web site. Copyright will be enforced and infringements removed and the submitter penalized or removed from the holt.
  3. Artwork of character(s) other than your own must first be approved by the character(s)'s owner(s) before the work is submitted for online publishing.
  4. File format must be .jpg. Image size of 500 x 500 pixels maximum or smaller is preferred. If possible, please optimize your images for web use to reduce loading time. If you wish to create an image for holt memorabilia these standards will differ - please contact me personally for exact requirements.
  5. Send all art to with the subject line 'Art: (title of piece) (your name)'. Artwork should include a short description of the piece and the medium used for display on the artwork listing. Failure to properly label submissions may result in their loss.

  2. Literary submissions must be original works of writing and of your own creation. If you would like to submit writing done for you by another author, you must submit the author's full name and a valid email address along with the piece, plus the author must have given permission for their work to be posted to our web site. Copyright will be enforced and infringements removed and the submitter penalized or removed from the holt.
  3. Literature of character(s) other than your own must first be approved by the character(s)'s owner(s) before the work is submitted for online publishing.
  4. File formats must be MS Word .doc or Notepad .txt formats or you may simply copy the story into the body portion of an email (MS Word preferred). In-document formatting should be Arial font, 10 point, single spaced with 1" margins. If you have an image file to accompany the writing, please send it as a separate .jpg file in the email - do NOT embed it within the Word document.
  5. Written material will be reviewed and edited upon receipt, with changes noted using MS Word's 'track changes' feature. A copy of your edited work will then be returned to you for your own review, pending approval of any significant changes or if further editing by the author is required.
  6. Send all writing to with the subject line 'Fanfic: (title of piece) (your name)'. Fanfics must include a short description of the piece for display on the fanfic listing and fleeting moments must include the RWH year the event occured. Failure to properly label submissions may result in their loss.
